• Schedule: PRN, 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m., 12-hour shifts. Three shifts per 6-week schedule.

Work with our smallest patients! As our Registered Nurse (RN) – Neonatal Intensive Care, you will provide care to our littlest patients who are sick or premature.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  
  

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.
  
  

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
  
  

Additional Preferences

• 3 years of current Level 3 Newborn ICU (NICU) experience is highly preferred
• Experience attending high-risk deliveries
• Up to date on NRP and STABLE cards
