Northern Illinois Chapter of AACN

We are the Northern Illinois Chapter of American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Our chapter was founded in Rockford in 1974 by a group of dedicated critical care nurses, committed to nursing excellence. We are nurses involved in the specialties of critical care medicine and progressive care.

We have members in area units that cover Adult Critical Care, Cardiac, Telemetry, ER, Neuro/Trauma and ALL areas where nurses work with critically ill patients. Our membership and board represent several hospitals in the Northern Illinois area.
